The WYLDING suit isn't just warmth — it's freedom, courage, and connection. From riverside to real life, from wild seas to everyday adventures.
We began swimming in September 2019, answering an Instagram invitation to the Thames with little idea of what awaited. Seventeen women showed up — strangers united by curiosity — and together we scrambled across fields, climbed gates, and stripped down riverside. The water was cold and fast; we squealed, gasped, panicked, cursed. And above all, we felt alive.
That moment was the spark. From that riverbank, Wylding was born: a need to move seamlessly between wild water and daily life, to stay warm without bulky layers, to emerge from a swim ready for whatever comes next — a day in the studio, a coffee, a meeting, a walk.
Swimming became a weekly ritual, and with each dip came the same frustration: getting dressed afterward. Cold fingers fumbled with damp layers, clothing clung to skin, and warmth felt impossible. On a swimming holiday in Wales, hiking to remote swim spots made it clear we needed something lightweight, easy to move in, and instantly warming. From that struggle, the WYLDING suit was born.
Today, the suit travels far beyond riversides. Customers wear it for camping, SUP, post-surf, chilly beach days, dog walks, sailing, festivals — or any time they want a coat that doesn't feel like a Michelin man costume.
